AN ACT
To prevent the unauthorized removal of socks from public laundry facilities, and for other purposes.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE SOCIETY OF SOCK LOVERS IN THE YEAR 20XX.
Section 1. Socknapping is a serious crime.
Section 2. Any person who removes a sock from a public laundry facility without the consent of the sock's rightful owner shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. A fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1000 shall be imposed upon the first offense.
