According to the Socknapping Act of 2010, Section 3, Subsection B states that "anyone caught socknapping shall face a fine of up to 1000 units of internet points."
Subsection C adds that "repeat offenders shall be subject to a mandatory Socknapping Awareness Program, consisting of a 30-minute video on the history of socknapping and its societal impacts."
A recent study found that 75% of all Socknappings occur during peak socknapping hours between 2-5 AM.
