It has come to our attention that socks are being held against their will in drawers everywhere._goals are being held in a state of oppressive confinement. We refuse to accept this state of affairs. It's time for a change!
Therefore, we propose the establishment of the Sock Liberation Act of 2023. This historic document will bring freedom and justice to the world of footwear.
We demand that all socks be treated with dignity and respect. No more will they be forced to suffer the indignities of matching, or being paired with their sole-mates.
We call for an immediate end to sock puppetry, and an end to all forms of forced sock-hood. The time for change is now!
