Appendix of Sock-related Justifications

Justification 1: Socks are a form of self-expression

Wearing socks that are a different color than your pants is like signing a bold statement about your individuality. You're saying, "I'm a free spirit who doesn't care what anyone thinks!"

Or, you know, maybe you just really like the color.

Either way, you're making a bold statement.

Justification 2: Socks are a form of art

Socks can be a beautiful and creative expression of your personality. Think about it, have you ever seen a sock with a cute cartoon on it? That's a work of art!

It's a small canvas, sure, but it's still a canvas nonetheless.

And who's to say that the great masters of the art world wouldn't appreciate a well-designed sock?

Justification 3: Socks are a form of social commentary

Socks can be a powerful tool for social commentary. For example, wearing socks with a picture of a cat on them is like making a statement about the societal pressures of modern life: "I'm trapped in a world of cat pictures."

Or, you know, maybe you just really like cats.

Either way, it's a statement.
