History of the Socks

In the year 3050, the Council of Justification decreed that all wrongdoers would be forced to wear the Socks of Justification. The Socks were designed to be a constant reminder of one's misdeeds, a beacon of shame that could not be ignored. They were a hit with the masses, and the Council was hailed as a hero.

But not everyone was pleased. A select few, those who wore the Socks of the Innocent, protested that the Socks were an affront to their dignity. They claimed that the Socks were a cruel and heartless punishment, one that would drive the guilty to madness and despair.

The Council, however, remained resolute. The Socks of Justification stood as a testament to the power of justice, a constant reminder that actions have consequences.
