Sonic and the Robot, now officially a married couple, are ready to face the future together. Or, rather, they're ready to face the inevitable robot uprisings and alien invasions that will surely come.
As they stand at the altar, surrounded by their friends and family (including a few bemused Chaos Emeralds), they exchange their vows.
"I promise to love and cherish you, even when you short circuit and start beeping loudly in the middle of the night," Sonic says, his eyes shining with sincerity.
"I vow to love and support you, even when you decide to reprogram yourself as a giant chicken," the Robot says, its metal heart glowing with affection.
And so, with a kiss, the ceremony is complete. The future is bright, and the love is strong.
