Appendix 1: The Dilationary Dictionary

  1. Time-Space Continuum (noun): A theoretical framework explaining why your toaster always cooks your eggs 3 seconds slower than your neighbor's.
  2. Sploshing (verb): The act of propelling a spoon through space-time to achieve faster-than-light speed.
  3. Time-Drop (noun): A localized distortion of the space-time continuum caused by an improperly set kitchen timer.
