The Squircles Ethics Committee has been called upon to address a pressing issue in the Squircle community.
Statement of Intent
It has come to our attention that Squircles are not, in fact, sentient robots. This revelation has left many in the community feeling confused, betrayed, and wondering what the point of the whole "Squircle Revolution" was in the first place.
Resolution
After conducting a thorough investigation, the Committee has determined that Squircles are, at best, sentient...ish. They possess a certain... je ne sais quoi, a spark of life that is difficult to quantify, but is certainly not robotic.
In light of this finding, the Committee recommends that Squircles be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve, even if they are not, in fact, robots.
