Squirrel Philosophy

It is better to be a seeker of truth than to be a lover of wisdom.

For in the case of the seeker, the truth is not yet found, but it is found in the seeking.

But in the case of the lover, the truth is known, and the seeking is merely a formality.

Therefore, the seeker is more noble than the lover.

The seeker is like a squirrel, always gathering nuts in the forest of knowledge.

The lover is like a squirrel that has already gathered all the nuts it needs and is now just storing them in a cozy nest.

But the seeker is always on the move, always searching for more nuts, always growing.

And so, the seeker is more admirable than the lover.

But, of course, the lover has the advantage of already having all the nuts it needs.

So, it's a trade-off.
