Today, the Stapler Assault Squad (SAS) received a memo from management requiring us to reorganize our stapler collection by Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. Sounds simple enough, but somehow, we managed to spend 4 hours discussing the finer points of "Is 'Papier' a valid classification for our stapler collection?"
Meanwhile, our arch-nemesis, the Pencil Pushers' Union, are trying to unionize our staplers. "You can't just unionize a stapler!" I said. "Why not?" they retorted, "We have a right to a safe and healthy workplace, with adequate stapler-to-worker ratio."
