The art of swiping a good performance is a delicate one. It's all about misdirection, distraction, and a dash of sleight of hand.
Start with a well-timed distraction. Perhaps a nearby cat in a funny hat will catch everyone's attention. While they're looking elsewhere, make your move.
Make a quick dash for it. Leave a trail of fake clues, and make sure to wear a disguise that's not too obvious.
Use a well-placed smoke bomb to create a diversion, then make off with the goods while everyone's eyes are fixed on the smoke.
And remember, a good thief always has a plan B. Or, in this case, a plan C, D, E, and F.
