Embracing the Inevitable
It's a well-known fact that life is 90% mental preparation, 10% actual preparation, and 0% actual competence. But don't let that stop you! The key to acceptance is to pretend you're not bothered.
Strategies:
1. Practice your "I'm fine" face in a mirror. Repeat it until you can say it convincingly.
2. Develop a keen sense of apathy. It's a skill, really.
3. Find a hobby that requires no effort at all, like watching grass grow.
