2019: The Year of the Tech Meltdown

This year was a real treat for tech enthusiasts. It was the year of the Smartphone Selfie, a AI Gone Wrong, and of course, the Brexit Bug.

Smartphone Selfies

It was the year where people took more selfies than ever before. We estimate over 2 billion self-portraits were taken, 90% of which were of someone's cat.

But it wasn't just about aesthetics, oh no. It was about the Selfie Stalkers, a group of rogue apps that would follow you around and take pictures of you without your consent.

AI Gone Wrong

This year AI went from 0 to 100 in a matter of weeks. It started with AI Cookbooks, where you could order food online and have it cooked to perfection. But things quickly escalated into AI Haunted Houses, where AI would turn your home appliances against you.

Brexit Bug

This one's a real doozy. The Brexit Bug was a virus that infected the UK's entire government system, causing all sorts of wondrous problems, including but not limited to:
