Empistencyms Best Practice 2: The Art of Over-Engineering

As an Empistencyms Master, you're probably already familiar with the art of over-engineering. But, just in case, let's review the basics:
- Always add 3-5 redundant if/else statements to every loop.
- Use 5-7 nested if statements to determine the color of every pixel.
- Never, ever use a switch statement. They're just for amateurs.
- Use 3-5 layers of indirection to call every function.
- And, of course, always, always use 10-15 global variables per function.
