Monet Attacks: Water Lilies in Agitated Anger

As the sun set over the peaceful lily pond, Claude Monet's temper flared like a wildfire. "You call these water lilies 'peaceful'?" he exclaimed. "I call them 'a mess of chaotic color!'"

Monet's brushstrokes grew more aggressive, as he attacked the canvas with a series of frenzied splatters and drips. The result was a painting unlike anything the world had ever seen: a Technicolor nightmare of water lilies.
