The art of bumping into things.
It's not clear when exactly this technique originated, but it's believed to have been popularized in the 1970s by the avant-garde performance artist, Elaine D. Bumpington.
Her most famous work, "Bumping into a wall 37 times," is still studied in art schools around the world.
Elaine's use of uncoordinated movement has been cited as an influence by many artists and comedians, including Monty Python and the Swedish Chef.
