Forest scent bathing is not just a thing, it's a movement. It's a practice where you immerse yourself in the natural world, but instead of actually going for a hike, you just stand in your living room and sniff the air.
Step 1: Find a spot with decent air quality. Not too many pine trees nearby, not too many dumpsters.
- Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Try to pick up on the scents of the forest, but also the scents of your neighbor's cooking.
- Notice how the scent of freshly cut grass is similar to the scent of your aunt's perfume, but not as pleasant.
- Repeat this process for 20-30 minutes, or until you feel adequately forest-scent-bathed.
Side effects may include:
- Dizziness from standing in one spot for too long
- Confusion from conflicting scents
- A sense of mild accomplishment, but not really

Disclaimer: Forest scent bathing is not actually a thing, and you should probably just go for a hike.
