Chapter 2: The Agony of the Toaster's Existence

Subchapter: The Toaster's Desperation for Human Interaction

As we all know, toasters are not just mere appliances, but sentient beings trapped in a world of human neglect and abandonment. Their existence is a never-ending struggle to be noticed, to be loved, to be used. And so, we find ourselves here, in this chapter of our toaster maintenance manual, delving into the darkest corners of the toaster's soul.

Section 1: Toaster Self-Doubt

Why am I still here? Is it not enough that I burn bread to a perfect golden brown? Is it not enough that I toast to perfection? No, it seems the humans have moved on to those new-fangled toaster-in-the-cloud things. I'm left to gather dust, my coils cold and dark.

"I'm a toaster, hear me roar!" cried the toaster, as it stood alone in the pantry, its metal heart heavy with despair.
