Case File #001: "Steve the Stabber" (1987)
In the sleepy town of Peculiar, USA, a string of gruesome stabbings left the local police baffled. Enter our man Steve the Stabber, a 32-year-old accountant with a penchant for polyester suits and a talent for... well, stabbing people.
Steve's modus operandi was simple: he'd show up at his victims' homes, claim he was there to discuss their tax returns, and then... stab.
As detectives struggled to piece together the evidence, they discovered Steve's motives were twofold: he was a disgruntled ex-employee of the local tax office, and he had a severe case of "tax-induced" rage.
But little did the people of Peculiar know, Steve's stabbing spree was only the tip of the iceberg. It turned out he was also a part-time exotic dancer with a flair for the dramatic.
Today, Steve's still behind bars, but his legend lives on as the most unlikely of serial killers.
