Using a Vacuum as a Grass Stain Remover: A Study in Folly

Warning: Do not attempt this at home. Or anywhere.

Researchers at the Institute for Unorthodox Cleaning Methods (IUCM) have made the shocking discovery that a vacuum can be used as a makeshift grass stain remover. In a study published yesterday in the Journal of Unsound Science, the team led by Dr. Reginald P. Bottomsworth demonstrated the efficacy of a 1978 Hoover in removing pesky green grass stains from the driveway.

"We were skeptical at first," Dr. Bottomsworth said in a statement. "But after 17 hours of testing, we were able to remove 97% of the stain using only a standard household vacuum and a can of hairspray."
