Rules of the Waiting Room

1. Do not touch the chairs. They are not for sitting.

2. Do not talk to the other patrons. They are not for talking to.

3. Do not ask the attendant for anything. They are not for asking.

If you find a lost sock, do not pick it up.

4. Do not leave your seat. You will be called back.

5. If you are called, do not answer. Pretend you are not there.

6. If the lights flicker, do not panic. It's just the fluorescent tubes being dramatic.

7. If the doors slam shut, do not open them. It's for show.

8. If the music is too loud, do not cover your ears. You will be called out for being uncool.

9. If you see a patron being led away in restraints, do not ask questions. They are not for asking questions.

10. Do not look at the clock. Time is relative here.
