Did you know that tea has been a staple in Olympic Games since 1924? It's a fact, we swear. Here are some of the most tea-rific teas in Olympic history:

1924: The First Tea-tastic Appearance

At the 1924 Paris Olympics, tea was first introduced as an official Olympic beverage. We're not sure what they were thinking, but we're glad they did.

1992: The Great Tea Heist

In 1992, the Soviet Union's Andrei LemaƮtre made headlines for stealing a tea box worth 10,000 gold medals at the Albertville Olympics. Talk about a brew-ty!

2016: The Tea-rific Tea Party

At the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Tea Party made waves for their out-of-control tea parties, which somehow managed to get them disqualified from the whole shebang.
