Comma Conundrums
You're stuck on commas, are ya?
We've got some alternatives for ya:
- Dashes (-) - For when you want to indicate a range of things, like "I've got 10-12 years of experience.
- Ellipses (...) or three dots - For when you want to show a trailing off or an unfinished thought, like "I've got a million things I wanna say..."
- Slashes (/) - For when you want to indicate a ratio or a division, like "The ratio of chocolate chips to cookie dough is 5:3."
- Colons (: - For when you want to indicate a pause or a break, like "I'm gonna go to the store: I'll be back soon."
Or just forget about it, and go back to using commas like a normal human being.
