Accidental Linguistic Overload
So, you've gone and done it. You've accidentally enrolled in an Italian course, and now you're stuck with an entire vocabulary of words you never knew you'd need.
Well, don't worry. It's not all that bad. Here are a few things to do:
- Try to pronounce "cappuccino" in front of a native speaker. See how prophets of doom.
- Practice your Italian by ordering food at a restaurant, but only order the one thing you know: "Cannellini, sì, sì, sì."
- Use your new skills to write sonnets about your cat, who will be the only one to understand you.
