It all started with the invention of the internet. Suddenly, humans had an endless stream of information at their fingertips, but what good was it doing for their lives? They had more time to waste, more opportunities to procrastinate, and more excuses to avoid doing anything productive. And so, the age of Boredom had begun.
But, as the years went by, humans found new ways to waste their time. They built sprawling cities of cat videos, constructed towering skyscrapers of memes, and cultivated vast fields of social media.
And so, the question remains: why bother?
But, if you're feeling stuck, here are a few tips to get you out of the rut:
1. Take a nap. Sometimes, a short rest can be just what you need.
2. Browse through a book. Or, better yet, read a book. Or, you know what, write a book!
3. Call your mom. She'll be happy to listen to you complain about how bored you are.
4. Try extreme sports. Like extreme napping. Or extreme browsing.
5. Get a pet. They'll be happy to do nothing with you.
