Woodcarving Techniques

Here are some woodcarving techniques to help you become the next Sand in the Wood champion:

Scoop & Hollow

This is the most basic, yet most useful technique. It's like scooping out a big ol' hole in the wood, and then making the walls of the hole thinner and thinner until they're just a tiny bit thicker than the surrounding wood.

Chip & Flip

This is the opposite of scoop & hollow, where you take tiny chips of wood and flip them over, creating a sort of 3D puzzle. It's like Tetris, but with wood.

Gouge & Gouge

This is the advanced technique of gouging out tiny little holes, and then gouging out even more tiny little holes in the holes you've already gouged out.
