The Tale of the 100-Yen Man
In a world where currency had lost all meaning, Joe found himself stuck with 17 million yen in cash. Determined to rid himself of the burden, he embarked on a quest to spend it all on the most absurd, the most ridiculous, and the most unnecessary things imaginable.
He bought 1000 rubber chickens from a vending machine in Tokyo. He paid for a year's worth of therapy sessions with a single, oversized novelty check. He even purchased a lifetime supply of ramen noodles from a vending machine on the moon.
But as Joe's spending spree continued, the world began to take notice. Governments and corporations, once content to just let him waste his wealth, grew anxious. They formed an elite task force, known as "The Debt Collectors," to stop Joe's rampage and restore the value of their precious currency.
But Joe was not one to be underestimated. Armed with nothing but his wits, his determination, and a pocket full of 100-yen coins, he battled the Debt Collectors in an epic showdown that would decide the fate of the global economy.
And so, if you'll ever find yourself in a similar predicament, just remember: you can't put a price on the value of a good story.
