Zero Waste Challengers: Rules for the Brave
We, the Zero Waste Challengers, are a community of rebels fighting against the scourge of consumerism. Our goal is to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and save the planet. Or, at the very least, save our sanity.
Rule 1: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle... and also Repurpose
Don't just recycle, repurpose! Turn old trash into new treasures. Like that old tin can you found in the dumpster? Make a wind chime out of it! Or, you know, just use it as a plant pot. We're not judgy.
Rule 2: Consume Consciously
Think before you buy! Do you really need it? Can you make it yourself? Does it come in a package that's just begging to be upcycled? If the answer is no, then don't buy it.
Rule 3: Refuse the Single-Use
Plastic straws, water bottles, coffee cups... the list goes on. We know, we know, it's hard to resist the allure of a free thing. But think of all the waste you'll be creating! And, honestly, who needs a good Instagram selfie with a single-use plastic straw?
Rule 4: Get Creative with Composting

Rule 4: Get Creative with Composting
Turn food scraps into nutrient-rich soil! It's like magic, but not really. Composting is like a party for your trash, and everyone's invited! Well, except for the trash. They're not really invited. They're just... composting.
