Step 1: Look for things that are wrong.
- Check for things that are broken.
- Count the number of times you've tripped over your own feet.
- Count the number of times your computer has crashed.
Step 2: Look for things that are slightly less wrong.
- Check for things that are merely annoying.
- Count the number of times you've had to restart your computer.
- Count the number of times you've eaten an entire pizza by yourself.
Step 3: Look for things that are just a little bit wrong.
- Check for things that are only sort of broken.
- Count the number of times you've gotten away with it.
- Count the number of times you've pretended to fix things.
