Coconut Identification Guide
For the uninitiated, identifying coconuts can be a daunting task.
Here are some key characteristics to look for:
- Coconuts have three "eyes" (or "eyespots", as some call them) on the top, one of which is usually larger than the other two.
- Coconuts are usually brown or tan, but can sometimes be green or black (but only if they're from the deadly venomous variety).
- They're a type of fruit, but they're not as soft as most fruits.
