Surviving Bears: A Guide to Not Being Eaten

Tip 1: Do not run. It's just not worth it.

Bears can run up to 30 miles per hour. You, on the other hand, are probably not a cheetah. Just stand still and look big.

If you're still reading this, you probably have no idea what you're doing. Try making friends with a bear instead.

Tip 2: Don't make eye contact. It's like trying to stare down a toddler.

Bears are naturally curious, but not as curious as a toddler. Just like how you avoid eye contact with your in-laws, avoid it with bears too.

What not to do when a bear approaches (spoiler: it involves not running)

Tip 3: Don't make any sudden movements. Unless you're in a fight choreographed dance routine.

Just like how you wouldn't want to get hit in a dance battle, bears don't want to get hit in a dance battle either.

But if you do find yourself in a dance battle, just kidding, it's just a bear.
