So, you're still alive, huh? Good for you. That takes skill. Here's what you should know:
Find or create a safe zone. You know, somewhere with walls, a roof, and preferably not on fire. We call this place 'home', but don't get too attached. It's a concept, not a guarantee.
Scavenge for food and water. Don't eat the moldy cans, trust us. You can find better sources, like the nearby stream or that one tree with the nice fruit. Don't eat the nice fruit; that's for the birds.
Make friends with the locals. Or just pretend to. They're not all bad, some of them might even give you a sandwich.
Learn basic first aid. It's not as hard as it looks. Most wounds are just scratches, and a little soap and water can work wonders. But don't get too close to the infected. Trust us on this one.
For bonus points, learn how to fix a bike. You never know when you'll need to make a quick escape from the marauders.
