Lesson 1: Holding the Stick

To start, you need to hold the stick firmly but not too tightly. A good grip should feel like you're holding a feather, but a bad grip will feel like you're holding a snake.

The stick is like a dance partner, it needs to be in harmony with your hand. If it's too loose, it's a waltz. If it's too tight, it's a mosh.
