Cyper-Build-the-Bridge Event Rules

Team-Building Olympics presents the Cyper-Build-the-Bridge event, where teams of three compete to build the most efficient, aesthetically pleasing digital bridge.

Objective: Build a bridge using 100% digital tools, connecting two points exactly 10 pixels apart, while maintaining a minimum 5:1 ratio of style to functionality.

Rules: Teams are allowed to use any digital toolset, but must adhere to the following:

• No more than 500 lines of code per team member.
• Each team member must contribute equally to code, design, and debugging.
• The bridge must be functional, but not necessarily stable or secure.
• A minimum of 20% of the code must be dedicated to cat videos.

Penalties:

• Code smell: 5-point penalty for every 10 lines of code that don't follow standard coding practices.
• Lack of cat videos: 10-point penalty for every 1% below the minimum 20% cat video requirement.
• Bridge collapse: 20-point penalty for every 1 minute the bridge takes to load.

Scoring: The team with the highest score at the end of the event will be declared the winner.
