Warning: Do Not Attempt This at Home (Seriously, Don't)
Jim's BBQ ribs recipe is a highly experimental and potentially deadly concoction.
Proceed with caution, and by "caution," we mean "don't even."
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of pork ribs (don't get the baby backs)
- 1 cup of Jim's special BBQ sauce (see below)
- 1 cup of bourbon (the good stuff)
- 10 cloves of garlic, minced (because everything's better with garlic)
- 1 cup of brown sugar (no, really, 1 cup of brown sugar)
- 1/4 cup of black pepper (see our black pepper page)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to 400°F (that's like, really hot)
- Slather on the ribs with Jim's special BBQ sauce
- Drizzle with bourbon, because why not?
- Sprinkle with garlic because, well, garlic
- Stab with black pepper because, you know, it's fun
- Cook for 10-12 hours, or until the ribs are just about to fall apart
And that's it! Serve with some coleslaw, because, you know, you'll need a break from the sweetness of the ribs.
