The Squadron was formed in 3GK (Galactic Kingdom Calendar) 4567 by a group of mischievous space pirates who sought to disrupt the peaceful intergalactic trade routes.
The founders, led by Captain Zara "The Blackheart" Vexar, hijacked several cargo ships and established a reputation for being the scourge of the cosmos.
In 4GK 9012, Squadron Commander Zara was promoted to admiral and the group was reorganized as an official military unit, known as the "Squadron." They took on various missions for the Galactic Empire, becoming a thorn in the side of their enemies and a symbol of hope for those in need.
However, the Squadron's success was not without its costs. They suffered heavy losses during the Battle of Xeridia-IV, where they clashed with the Xeridian Empire's formidable space navy.
As the Galactic Empire began to crumble, the Squadron found itself at the forefront of the rebellion against the tyrannical Emperor Xarath. Led by Commander Arin "The Shadow" Vexar, they played a crucial role in the Emperor's downfall.
But at great cost. The Squadron was decimated during the subsequent civil war, and many of its veterans were forced to go underground to escape the Empire's retaliation.
