Steve has very specific and highly scientific preferences when it comes to beer. He has spent years perfecting his craft, and his taste buds are his only critics.

• He likes IPAs, but only if they're brewed in the Pacific Northwest.
• Stouts are okay, but only if they're made with locally sourced, organic ingredients.
• Ales are for amateurs, but Steve has a soft spot for a well-crafted session ale.
• Porters are for when he's feeling fancy, but only if they're served in a dimly lit, smoke-filled room.
