When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Or, you know, just stare at the clock for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break.
But seriously, the Pomodoro Technique is a productivity hack for the desperate. Work in focused 25-minute increments, take a break, repeat.
Why 25 minutes? Because that's the exact amount of time it takes to get a decent cup of coffee, and also because it's roughly the length of time you'll be able to focus without wanting to murder your family.
