Bob Software's 24-Hour Development Cycle: A Roadmap to Madness

Phase 1: Idea Generation (0-6 hours)

Bob Software's development cycle is a blur of ideas. In this phase, Bob writes down all the half-baked concepts he has lying around in his notebook.

Phase 2: Prototyping (6-12 hours)

Bob hastily codes out a rough prototype to test the limits of his idea. Expect many, many bugs.

Phase 3: Debugging (12-18 hours)

Bob spends hours staring at his monitor, muttering curses at the screen, and questioning his life choices.

Phase 4: Release (18-24 hours)

Bob releases the code to the world, only to realize he's created a monster.

Phase 5: Maintenance (after 24 hours)

Bob spends the rest of his life patching up the holes he dug himself in Phase 4.
