The Cat Problem - Therapy Session 104

Case File: Whiskerface, Feline Client #4211

Therapist: Dr. Purr-cy

Today's Agenda: Catnip Aversion Technique

We begin today's session by reviewing Whiskerface's catnip addiction history. It's been a long and complicated journey, filled with scratching posts, shredded furniture, and an endless supply of catnip toys.

The client's current catnip intake is staggering: 5 grams per day, 7 days a week. We've tried various forms of intervention, but Whiskerface remains resolute in their desire for the stuff.

Dr. Purr-cy: "Whiskerface, I understand the allure of catnip is strong, but we must work to break this cycle of addiction. Are you ready to explore alternative stress relief strategies?"

“Catnip is like the cheese to my mouse, the sun to my whiskers, the scratch to my itch.”

Dr. Purr-cy hands Whiskerface a small notebook and a pen. "Your homework, Whiskerface. Document your daily catnip cravings. Rate them on the following scale: 1-10. We will work with these numbers to establish a baseline for our treatment plan."

Whiskerface takes the notebook and pen, and with a hint of trepidation, begins to scribble away.

As we conclude today's session, Whiskerface has filled 3 pages with catnip cravings ranging from 2-9. We'll continue to work with these numbers, and explore ways to reduce them.

Dr. Purr-cy: "Remember, Whiskerface, the road to recovery is long, but with dedication and hard work, you can overcome your catnip addiction."
