Exception 1 of 100,000

According to the Tuesday Mandates, all days are created equal, but some exceptions are more interesting than others.

Case Study: Tuesday, 3rd Week of February 2025

In a shocking turn of events, the usual Tuesday Mandate of wearing bright yellow socks on Tuesdays was suspended due to an unforeseen outbreak of Sock-Eating Worms in the city of New Sockville.

As a result, citizens were allowed to wear alternative footwear on Tuesdays, including, but not limited to, plaid pants, polka-dot socks, and novelty slippers.

However, this exception was itself an exception to the Tuesday Mandate of Wearing Only Socks, which is still in place.
