Utopian Dance is the premier online community for those who believe that dancing can change the world. Our mission is simple: to bring people together through the universal language of movement, one step at a time.
We're a 100% non-hierarchical, non-judgmental, totally non-profit organization (we're totally not making a profit off of our merchandise, nope). Our goal is to create a world where everyone can dance, regardless of background, ability, or taste in music.
Our forums are moderated by a team of highly trained, highly caffeinated dance experts who will guide you through the ups and downs of utopian dance etiquette, dance history, and dance philosophy. We've got discussions on everything from the intricacies of 5-4 time signatures to the best ways to politely decline an invitation to do the Macarena at a wedding.
