It appears you are experiencing Buffering, the most exciting part of any VHS playback experience! You're not sure why, but it's just taking a moment to load the next scene.
Don't worry, it's totally normal. It's just your VHS player's way of saying, "Hey, I'm still working on it... and by 'working on it', I mean, not working on it at all."
Click here to try and speed up the process, or rewind and try again.
If all else fails, you can always try inserting a coffee coin to see if that fixes things.
Or, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can always try press play and just go with it!
After all, it's not like it's actually going to make a difference or anything.
