1. The Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1984) - A cyborg's quest for revenge against a pesky human is still as compelling as ever.

2. Back to the Future (1985) - A time-traveling DeLorean and a heartthrob scientist make for a most excellent adventure.

3. Top Gun (1986) - Iceman's still got it in for the hotshot pilots of the 80s.
