Our sensors have picked up an unidentifiable energy signature coming from the depths of the planet's core. We're not sure what it is, but it's definitely not a natural phenomenon.
Note from Commander: This energy signature is getting stronger by the minute. Recommend we get a team to the site ASAP.
Addendum from Engineer: I've managed to hack together a makeshift probe. We should be able to get some more data on this thing within the hour.
