Søren Kierkegaard's most infamous experiment: "The Despair-o-Matic 3000" was meant to find the perfect balance of existential dread and existential crisis in a controlled environment. Unfortunately, the machine malfunctioned, spewing forth an endless stream of Sartre's quotes and forcing Søren to contemplate the meaninglessness of life.
As he sat in the darkness, surrounded by the eerie glow of failed circuitry, he wondered: "Is this the abyss that stares back?"
