Ah, the sweet, nostalgic taste of Eleven's Eggo pizza-flavored Doritos dust. Season 1 of Stranger Things is a love letter to the 80s, a nostalgic romp through the Upside Down of our collective childhoods.
Will Byers' missing person case is a masterclass in suburban mystery, with a dash of sci-fi and a pinch of '80s flair. Who can resist the allure of a missing kid, a haunted girl, and a Demogorgon or two (or three, or four, we're not counting)? Not this reviewer.
But, of course, it's not all fun and games in the Upside Down. The Demogorgons are real, and they're coming for you. And, let's be real, who needs a functioning government when you have a group of kids with a bad haircut and a love of Eggos?
