The 10-Second Rule of Germ Grinding

Rule 1: Wash your hands for exactly 10 seconds before handling any surface that will come into contact with food.

Why: Because, mathematically, 10 seconds is the minimum amount of time required to remove 99.9% of all germs.

Rule 2: Sanitize your workspace within 30 seconds of last contact with a germ.

Why: Because germs are like in-laws, they'll show up uninvited and overstay their welcome.

Rule 3: Use hand sanitizer that's at least 99.9% effective, and preferably with a built-in bottle of hand lotion.

Why: Because dry hands are a breeding ground for germs, and dry skin is a breeding ground for irritation.
