The worst books of 1987

These books were a mistake. A huge, huge mistake.

Some of the most cringeworthy, poorly written novels I've ever had the displeasure of reading.

• 1. "The Eye of the World" - I still have nightmares.
• 2. "The Color Purple" - Who thought this was a good idea?
• 3. "The Wasteland" - It was just a bunch of random words.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

But in all seriousness, these books made me reevaluate my priorities.
