Paradoxical Tenets

1. Everything is simultaneously true and false, yet neither.

This is the fundamental tenet of Balthazar's philosophy, and it's not up for debate.

2. The only constant is change, except for this tenet, which will always be true.

This is the paradoxical heart of Balthazar's philosophy, wrapped in a neat little paradox.

3. The only thing that's certain is uncertainty.

This tenet is the foundation upon which all else is built, including the foundation of our foundation, which is actually made of sand.

Subtenet 1: The answer to every question is 'maybe', except for this question, which is actually 'no'.

This subtenet is the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe, or so we're told.
